cracks on RTi100 base

Just purchased a pair of brand new RTi100 at very good price one month ago. Last night suddenly found out there are several big cracks on both speakers' bases. All cracks are on the corner, one of them is even more than 3 inches long. I am using spikes, and I do not believe I over-tightened the screws at all.

What should I do? Looks like the base itself can not stand the weight or something. Will the warranty cover this? It is really painful to see those cracks under this pair of fantastic speakers. Thanks a lot.

Just found another post with same problem, emailed Kenneth for help. Man, I really love the sound of RTi100, they are great speakers. Just hope there could be some text in the manual to warn me about do not over-tighten (or always less tighten) the spikes. :-(
