They are great once in a great while. I have no addiction with them or any other kind of sweets. America don't need anymore anything like this , they should stay dead.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -

Exactly, that's where the term hushpuppy came from, seriously. If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money. -
An American classic that I'm glad is back, even though I haven't eaten one in 10 years.

For those who may not have noticed. A couple of companies have already been filling in for Twinkies.
I believe Little Debbie has been marketing something called Cloud Cakes
And Tastykake has had Dreamies cream kakes on the shelves for a while now?
Both look like a Twinkie, so sorry Dan there is no way these things are going away. With John, above, I have not had one in years, but that does not mean I'll "never" have one again. lol

I've always considered Nutty Bars to be the ultimate snack, but the world was a little bit lesser place when they quit making Twinkies.

Though I'm Canadian, I had the opportunity to work in southern OK for a year about 10 years ago. I was working on a huge construction project that employed many different contractors. A big tent was set up as part of the facility to feed everyone. The ladies behind the grill decided one day to offer deep fried Twinkies as dessert. It was basically fat and sugar deep fried in lard. When they took them out, they then sprinkled powdered sugar on 'em. Someone asked later how I liked it, and I said you could do that to a **** and it'd taste good!

There's plenty of cr@pfood around. I passed my peak Twinkie years way before puberty. Wonder bread makes good bait for carp fishing. Roll it up in little balls & it stays on the hook. Thats what I remember anyway. Somebody will make a quick buck before the company dies again.
