Hi ! I am using an Adcom 5802 to power my Polk lsi25 ! The speakers are about 40 feet from the amp , I am using 10 gauge monster speaker cable! My concern is that my amp runs super hot with louder volume ! ( I like loud music, that's the reason for the system) I am getting the thermal light warning !!
Any suggestions to cool the amp?

    Turn the volume down...

I have the same amp and have never had the light come on.. Maybe take it in and have it serviced..

Do you think using a fan will help?
    What speaker you have?

I wouldn't do it without it being checked out..

I run that amp with LSi15s and it gets "warm" never hot. I would have it checked out.

Have you taken your amp for service? How often that should be done?
