RC85i mounted in ceiling

Maybe a dumb question but I'm going to ask anyway: is there any reason to be concerned with the drywall in my ceiling holding the weight of the RC85i speakers?

It is 1/2 inch drywall.

None at all. The speakers have clips that keep the speakers securely in place.

I should have been more clear. I meant the weight of the speakers - will the drywall hold or should I expect it to bow from the weight?

    1/2" drywall should be fine.

I just did some in-ceilings in my basement. It was drop tile so I backed the tile with 1/4" mdf board, but I think with drywall you should be fine.
