Finally found some 2Bs

After a long time searching I finally found a pair of 2Bs near me. Thanks to OldmanSRS for letting me know they were available in my area!

After a short listening session I'm extremely happy with them. They have found a permanent home. Sorry to say that due to a lack of space my CRS+ and 10Bs will have to go soon.

I guess if you've saw one pair of 2Bs you've seen them all but since I know everyone likes photos here they are...

    BTW, CRS+ can just sit on top of the 2B's.
    I have like that and I switch back and forth sometimes.
    I know not to have speaker as a stand etc... but my place is not perfect for anything so it works.

    Also, compare CRS+ against 2B and let us know your impressions.

    Congratulations Tenn and welcome to the 2B club! I bought a pair of 2B TL speakers myself in January from a fellow forum member and could not be happier with them. They are great speakers!

    If you had just been a few hundred miles closer :)

    I can't put the CRS+ on top of the 2Bs because of clearance under the cabinet door. Another downside to that is I'm condemned to a world without spikes. Well maybe I could remove the doors... Naw, the boss in our family wouldn't allow that.

    I haven't put the RDO-194s in the 2Bs yet but here is how I would rank the Polks I have based on my taste. I know there will be differing opinions.

    10B - Good
    CRS+ - Better
    CRS+10B hybrids - Even Better
    SDA 2B - Best

    Thanks for the tip. The poor photo is making them look closer than they are to the wall. Thy are about 4 inches away but I agree they might need to come out more.

    The 2Bs were like getting an upgrade for me. I'm working on installing the 194s right now. That may be all I do for a while. I'm pretty happy with what I'm hearing so far. When the time comes to start with mods I think the 2Bs are good ones to mod. As you know, there are lots of things that can be done at a reasonable cost.

    Thanks guys. I'm happy to be a member of the 2B club. May be a while before I move up to the 2B-TL club. Money is kind of tight right now with tax time coming up.
