Hello All!

I am in the market for a new receiver, so why not throw something on the wall and see what sticks. I am looking for a Pioneer Elite SC-09TX receiver. Has to be in pretty good shape (nothing crazy like something blew out and you "fixed it" yourself please). If anyone has one, or knows of a friend or family member that does, I'd like to buy it.

Thanks as always!

Good luck finding one , most who own , won't sell. It's a monster and my favorite AVR of all time. I had the pleasure of doing a few of these bad boys.

One just showed up on Canada's Canuck Audio Mart yesterday.......$2300. It looks good and is rated a 10 (Mint). DSP was updated and the unit comes from a pet free, smoke free home. The Box is also available so shipping should be good. Seller says it was in a system that wasn't used every day.

    Is this model similar?

Kernersville is right next to Greensboro, don't know how far you are from it in Va.

Not even remotely close. That's a vintage Elite model. The SC model is/was the flagship of flagships. HDMI/Class D ICE amps...built in screen etc.

I would certainly hope after 11 years he found one or moved on.

This little nugget from 2013 caught my eye. Dan was into some crazy stuff back then apparently.

I walked up the Elite SC line except ever owning the SC-09TX. I had the SC-07 first , followed by the SC-27 , then SC-57 , then SC-68 which was my favorite out of the bunch , then the SC-99.

I almost purchased the brand new Pioneer Elite VSX808 which is the current flagship but I got one better from the same Family.

That SC-09TX receiver was $7K expensive in 2008!

Amp on the bottom processor on the top and close to 80lbs weight even with class D amps and a legit 200+ watts per channel all channels driven. Made me drool back then when Pioneer was top of their game. B)

I have an SC-99 in pristine condition. I am thinking about selling it. You will have to beat $13,750.975 for it. I will even insure it with tracking. I will send you video and picture of it before I send it. And picture and video of me, after you send me money.

Best of luck to you to get this rare gem.

Hurry, this offer will not last. If you act within the next 39 minutes I will throw in my favorite Britney Spears music reference CD that I stole from Blockbuster Music.
