ok today i got my NAD amp ,preamp made a interconnect cable ,the speakers sound absolutely fantastic! till about just over half volume then they start clipping ,,,yes the amp can handle a 4 ohm load ! but i also noticed that the right speaker , i guess you call it the array tweeter for the simulated surround, is not working, the other tweeter works fine ! and i tested the tweeter by swapping it with the other tweeter ,and the tweeter works fine what can cause the clipping ? and why wont the array tweeter produce sound ? can this be a problem with the crossover ? the left speaker works fantastic no issues thanks

Your speakers don't clip, your amp does and at over halfway on the volume control that's exactly what is happening. If it's not loud enough for you, you need a more powerful amp.

Your tweeter issue is either a wiring issue or more likely the polyswitch is shot.

i hooked up another set of 4ohm bose speakers, and the volume went to max no clipping at all .
not trying to play at those volumes was just testing the rig to make sure everything is fine but the issue happens only with the polks no other speakers
and where is the polly switch ? i am not familiar with that ?

Speaker efficiency has a lot more to due with that than the nominal ohms rating. Regardless, you should never turn the volume to max.

Yeah i understand volume should never be maxed out , but when it was clipping at half volume i tried to duplicate it with the bose to see if it would do it still ,and the volume just kept going up with no issues

i found this posting and followed it

Mono signal - balance to left results in left channel stereo drivers on, right channel dimensional drivers muted.
Mono signal - balance to right results in right channel stereo drivers on, left channel dimensional drivers muted.

when i do this to left balance the left stereo drivers play good , but no sound, nothing at all from right
to the right the right stereo drivers play, and the left aray tweeter and the left outside 6 inch plays good
