We have all seen different speaker cable isolators and stands. They are made from all sorts of different types of material but I just ran across the coolest looking speaker cable stands I believe I have ran across to date. The cool thing? They don't cost an arm and a leg. Check these out....

They are made out of balsa wood and are simply hand crafted. Now, I'd like not to have this thread turn into a "believer" versus "non-believer" with regards to speaker cable stands/isolators. What would be nice is to have folks post a picture of their various cable isolators or stands so that other folks can see the various types we have here on the forum. I'll be building a set of these pictured above for my rig, stained as close as possible to the speakers. What are you using and would be kind enough to post a picture?

That is a very handsome set of cable risers. As a wood worker I think I shall put something together. I imagine when they travel along an uneven surface such as carpet they will get a little tippy so some weight like a 6 inch tile may help. By the way, what kind of cabled are those.

Hello, michael1947. They are Schnerzinger cables. I know, Gesundheit! No really, that is the name of the company. Relatively new high end cables from an established company. Unfortunately, they are not available for demo anywhere but in Germany.

very nice. I'm wondering what amp that is in the background.

I might try and see if my brother can build me some of these when he has a chance or something similar. I need to clean up the mess of cables behind my stand badly and these would help get things organized.

Hello, cstmar01. The amp in the background is a CAT amplifier. Don't hold me to the model because I'm not sure about it but I do believe that it's the Statement.

Keiko, that's what they make Invisible Fencing for. *smiles*

Thank you for your input, mjcmt but that's not the gist of the thread. If you don't use them, I would like to politely and respectfully ask that you simply don't post here on this thread. As mentioned in the original post..

Hmmm...I was wondering what I should do with my left over chunks of zebrawood...there may be plenty enough to make some of these just for grins. The cats are gonna love em! Hehe
