I still browse around occasionally (hence why I saw this thread), and I haven't lost interest in audio. But, life gets in the way a lot, and this isn't the only forum I've stopped browsing. I used to be refreshing various forums constantly throughout the day, but have found lots of other things (work) to occupy my time.

That, and my 2ch system hasn't changed in years. I still have a set of rings and gaskets that have been sitting on a shelf for 2 years that I need to install in my SDA2's. So wasteful... but honestly, I use the Monitor 30's in the kitchen more than I use the big rig. I also put some money in my car audio, but that didn't really incite many posts from me either.

Edit - hard to believe it's been over 11 years! And there's still a lot of the same faces around, some of whom I've even met in person. Don't get that on many internet forums... wait, is that a good thing or a bad thing?
    Ludicrous gibs!

Seriously, I think at times you can get burned out. Taking a step away for awhile may not be a bad thing.

This was it for me. I was burned out. Burned out on my job, burned out on messing with my system and room, and just generally burned out on about everything. I didn't turn my rig on for about a year if that gives you a hint at just how burned out I was. But eventually I got the itch again, and off we go.

I just kind of lost interest in upgrading my stereo after getting my LSi's and some Rotel gear. I've really gotten back into playing guitar and picking up its associated gear over the last couple of years too, so spend more time over at The Gear Page. I also bought a Harley in early 2009 and that has occupied a lot of my free time. This is the first time I've checked this site in probably six months.

Hello guys!! I'm still around, just not on here much... I also still have my LSi15's! :) However, they are in the works to be replaced here soon, kinda like my ex wife over the past few years that put me MIA. ;)

I hope all the boys are doing well!! I miss all the guys and think about the awesome time we had at the 'Polkfest' at my place back in 2007. Maybe we can have another get together somewhere, would be nice to see the old faces again...
