I was just wondering where all the frequent posters just disappear to? Do they just give up on audio never to return or join other forums? So many folks have came here to improve there rigs and then vanish without a trace

They probably got tired of dealing with the trolls who keep starting cable 'debates' by adamantly screaming cables make no difference while never trying anything other than stock cables.

So many folks have came here to improve there rigs and then vanish without a trace

After they paid attention and learned something, they upgraded all their cables, and now just listen to music.

    What was the question again?

    Hi Ricardo

People came, got the info they needed to improve their systems and are now enjoying them, there is no need to come back everyday to say how much they are enjoying them. To the great majority this is simply a part of their life, not an obsession.

There are so many other things that are a higher priority than audio, like employment, keeping a roof over your head, food on the table, etc. This is an expensive hobby if you are a constant tweeker/upgrader which most people aren't. If you have lost your employment I doubt you care very much right now about your audio system.

Or perhaps a great many having explored most of what there is to audio have found another hobby to get wrapped up in.

    Well said Cathy.

This is not the only audio forum on the interwebs. I know I belong to a few, but this is the one I call home. Not to mention some of us have more than just one hobby/time waster. I am into Audio, computers, video games, Radio controlled land vehicles, I also have 5 kids and a wife. When I we had just one little one, I was on here all the time, and it slightly tapered off and leveled off after the third. Loss of high speed internet made it a little harder to keep up. Then hard times hit and I was gone for almost a year. It's like anything else in life it all comes and goes, and runs through phases.
