Nice system Jhayman. I hear ya' with the no sleep thing. Can't tell you how many times I have fallen asleep in the listening chair, waking up right before it's time to go to work. A good system and some good tunes will definitely keep you up and a rockin' much, much later than you should be up.

I know they make LP shelves that are wall mounted. That may be something to consider, otherwise a dedicated stand that has some kind of weight to it may help. Perhaps a custom stand that has LP's underneath it to help weigh it down a bit.

These damned spammers are enough to make me want to shoot somebody. Anyway, I finally found this thread again. It turns out that the Target stands I was thinking of have been discontinued but I was able to locate one found here >>> http://fatwyre.com/Product/VW1-Pro-1-Shelf-Wall-Bracket-for-Turntable Looks like it lists for $179.00

After reading into it some, you may want to replace the wood within the shelf to help with the isolation and ringing from the hollow steel tubes. It turns out that Rega also has one but I haven't really researched into any of those because I know Target doesn't mess around with build quality. Their speaker stands I have are about as stout as one could get with a speaker stand with a great finish and a high durability factor. FWIW.

    Thanks very much Tom..
It looks like a nice shelf I was thinking I would have to go that way as I really don't have any place else to put a TT..
Small house and that is the olnt way I can have my gear in the basement, any other way and I would be to close to it.
    Cheers...

You could mount Tv up higher then put a shelve for the center channel under it.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

The Studio Monitor 100's are a bit tricky to get to sound right. They are very sensitive to everything behind them and where they are placed. If space allows try to get as close to 3/4 the distance from the seating to one speaker spacing apart. So example is if you sit 10 feet away , the speakers should be 7.5 feet apart. Also point the tweeter behind your head and not directly at your nose or ears. Leave about 2 feet behind you where the 2 tweeter aiming points meet up.
If you do not follow this setup with them , you will not hear everything they can do. In this setup is where the magic comes in. They really perform their best and you get all that they are out of them.

Congrads on the find , they look to be in very nice shape.

My TV is already almost 6ft, not sure I can go much higher in that area as there is duct work running about another 2ft higher then I would be blocking most of the window and I still would be short on height accommodation for your suggestion..
Need to keep thinking, but it's Sunday..lol

    Thanks Mantis..
I am in the process of fine tuning them like you describe now..
They really do sound wonderful, Rich, Deep, Great Midrange and very nicesounding Highs, not overly Bright and Harsh at all, no high fatigue here..
The Emotiva while is really my only experience other than a Rotel really makes them sound nice..
My vinyl is really singing now..

As for the Shape, If I was to post them on Audiogooon it would be a 9/10 with the 1/10 because they are out of the box..
    They truly are flawless..
    Not even broken in yet.

Hi jhay, speakers look super cool in that finish congrats on the purchase. How do you find the sound from that center channel? Does the sheer size make a diff in the clarity at low volume?

The sheer size of the center allows it to dominate HT viewing which is really cool and the way it should be for HT viewing yopur center plays a Huge part in it.
Yes even at much lower volumes it is very clear and acurate.
Now I think i'll try a PC if i can find one out my way for a reasonable cost.
