Why not try it and hear for yourself?

I've used the Carol Cable 14/2 on my fronts and didn't have any problems. In fact, it was probably the best stuff I've worked with in terms of ease of use. The stuff is flexible and easy to terminate. And here's the fun part. I paid maybe $10 for 30 feet from Home Depot since it was on their leftover wire shelf and I bought it to see if there would be any difference between it and Monster Z Series Speaker Cables I was using at the time. No difference from what I could tell. The Monster cables were on Craigslist the next day.

As speedskater has already said Carol Cable CO. has been around for a long time . If you don't buy into the snake oil $200 ' wire then
you'll be fine. I used construction grade 16/4 to p/u my rears and have not had any issues w/ either the length of run or any
    degrading of sound quality.

At the very least, I'd consider spending just a little bit more and opt for Blue Jeans Cable, Beldon 5000U.

yep that Beldon 5000u is darn nice cable for the price...

I think you will be happy with it, for the money. I used Knukonceptz 14/2 for my fronts and center, and 16/2 for my surrounds and I think it sounds great. More definition than the cheap lamp cord I was using. Their 14/2 stranded wire is made up of 189 individual strands and both gauges are very flexible and easy to terminate.

Stick with the nakimichi plugs for now. I like the way the Knu plugs are built but I have read on here that they are not solid copper.

Sorry, no but you would want to find someone local because shipping would be a killer on a sub

If its "power" cable, its not speaker cable and its not usually 99+% pure. You can do a bit better without going nuts. Look up Windy City 14/4. If inclined, you can double it up and have 10 gauge.
