I use a nexus 10 often. I would like to use headphones with no cord. What would be an inexpensive choice? I also walk to work. Is there a good cordless option for physical activity?

Welcome to Polk, I recently purchased a pair of bluetooth headphones.

The only bluetooth set I have is the Motorola SD-10HD. I mainly use them when I'm doing yard work.
The sound is OK. I mainly got them because I didn't want to deal with a cord while working. I usually connect them to the phone as they have call answering switches and a mic. They are more for convenience than sound quality. New you can find them for around $45. I got mine from Woot, refurbished for $25. Bought a couple for friends at Christmas.
I recommend them for convenience. I'm sure others will have better sound quality.
The best sounding bluetooth Headphone I have heard is the Sennheiser MM 450. They have a new model out the 550's but the 450's have dropped in price to a little over $200. These models both offer noise canceling. I know they are out of your stated price range, but they do sound pretty good.

Won't bluetooth headphones drain your battery quickly?

Whatever you get, make sure it works on the A2DP blutooth profile which is higher quality and designed for music and other entertainment listening.
