Just thought I would post a few words.
I'm new as member, but have lurked around here for a while.
My current status as a Polk owner consists of:
SDA SRS (1986 vintage) Purchased for $1200 from the original owner in Sacremento, CA
tweeter protection removed / replaced with 12 gauge jumper wire
European Versions:
Onkyo Pre-Amp P-306RS
(2) Onkyo Amplifiers M-506RS
Running SDA's Bi-Amplified
1) M-506RS driving the tweeters
1) M-506RS driving the mids - this amp has the servo drive active
In due time I am looking to do some mods.
Mods would include: Crossovers, new wiring inside through-out, new grille fabric, binding posts, new SDA cable, tweeter upgrades.
Already have done the JB Weld thing on the mids.

I will welcome you as well even though I am one of the resident RTA fanatics versus the veritable plethora of SDA junkies we have here. But I love me some SDAs too!"Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

Hi Teguci.... welcome.
I was new here too a few months ago, and like you, was just starting a complete overhaul of the SDA SRS 2 set I recently acquired. I did just about every mod available in the book. I WAS a newbie, and this great group of new friends here guided me through the entire project. I posted a good record of everything I did, from cabinet work, grills, crossovers, tweeters, etc, etc. You are among good friends and a vast trove of assistance. Enjoy.
Here was the thread of my overhaul...
