Placing speakers on back wall , if I put the left on the left side of the room that puts the 5.25 facing the left side wall, same on the right side. Is this correct? or should the 5.25's be facing inward?
Thanks,
G

    You have mounted them correctly.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I will be getting a pair of Fxi 5's. I have a similar question. They will be on the back wall.

Now, on my LEFT side (left when watching tv) the speaker is about 1 foot away from the wall.

On my RIGHT side (right when watching tv) they are on the wall, which opens into the kitchen, so there is no wall.

Which side should the Woofer be positioned....Out, towards the wall (and kitchen)or in, towards the middle.

Also, Bi Pole or Di-Pole? Speakers are about 4 feet above listening position and about 1 foot behind couch.

    thanks

PC - I would mount them as described in the manual....like above post by GWH. As far as Bipole/Dipole...that IMO is just a suggestion, not a rule. I would use what sounds best for your room.

I would bet that Bipole will in fact be your best choice, beings you have that opening nearby.

The Bipole mode will radiate a much larger soundstage than Dipole will. Bipole is the recommended setting for rear wall applications.
