i-Sonic ES2 iPod problem.

Just received my refurb ES2 from Polk's eBay store & it will not work with my iPod Touch 4G 64GB & upon reading, it's not listed as supported in the manual. Is there a firmware update to make the unit useful or am I gonna have to return it since it won't work with my iPod? Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
