Eats ?

Need some recommendations on some good places to eat in Clearwater beach, Florida. Heading down tomarrow to visit my youngest daughter who manages a hotel there. Also a stop in to see my former crazy Canadian neighbors who only live about 30 minutes away. May re-visit the Lobster pot, been about 15 years since I've been there though. I'd imagine lots have changed in that time since I hung around the Tampa area. Anyway, whats on the menu from any of you Florida Polkies ? Seafood gents....can't get enough of good seafood.

    Guppy's restaurant. The food is very good and not too expensive. The fried banana caramel cheesecake desert is AWESOME. My wife and I planned a trip to Florida 9 years after out initial visit there and drove 90 minutes just to go there. Here is a link: http://www.3bestchefs.com/guppys/

    I lived in Clearwater for a year back in high school.

    That doesn't help your eats situation, but I loved my time there. Would move back at any time.

    That Guppy joint looks interesting, thanks bro. Anyone else ? Price is of no concern. I like to balance out my eats between local bar type joints and high end.

    Seafood baby....I want to know who has the freshest. Not who freezes it the best. Fish, oysters, clams, anything from the water, I'm in. No tourist trappy places either. I could care less if it's a dirt floor and weber BBQ in the back, as long as that seafood is getting caught that day. Also don't care if it's 100 bucks a plate at a high end Hotel eatery.
