    Looking for a speaker selector for 3 pair or more. Would like built-in overload protection. Needs to be in pretty good condition. Budget is probably $50 or less.

    Adcom GFS-3, Adcom GFS-4, Adcom GFS-6, Niles SVL-4 or something similar (suggestions are welcome). Anybody have one sitting in a closet?

      They pop up on cl in my area fairly ofyen in the 30/50 range. So keep an eye out. I use a gf3 and have been very happy with it for several years btw. Its a good unit, clean without any issues.not for sale however! LOLl but they can be found if you look around.

      Sorry mine is not for sale either .But the model I have is a Niles SP-6 .6 zone speaker selector w/ a protection circuit.I have run at
      most 2 sets of spks out of the 4 sets that are wired to it. I paid $21.50 + minor shipping from E-Bay and couldn't be happier with
      it's job.I do suggest getting the larger than 3 ,you just never know and at that price you can't go wrong.It's passive w/ wire pair
      from amp to Niles then all speakers to the Niles .All connections are made w/ spring loaded clips.If you go e-bay route make sure the seller does not use paper shards to cushion the pkge w/o bagging it 1st. This happened to me and the shards got into everything
      and I had to clean the thing for hours.I really laid into the seller for this bad idea.

      Got a Monster for very cheap. Was with my house when I bought it. Used for a little while, but decided I didn't need it.

      Been watching CL and Ebay too; problem is people need to actually respond to buyers when they are trying to sell something on CL! And list the condition! There's a lot of gear available local, but there's a lot of flakes.

      Btw with the adcom u can use bananas,and it also has protection and built like a tank.

      The only Adcoms I've seen have the twist lock style connection like on some of the gfa-535 amps. Is there a particular model/version that accepts bananas?

      Condition is great as far as I know.

      Found the Adcom..
      it is a GFS-3.. little dusty, but no scratches
      IDK about the functionality or either one, as I have not used either...
      You are welcome to try them both and return the one you don't like :)
      Just LMK... I have to go up to Bham Friday, but will back in town Saturday...
