Might be a mean rear center channel.......but using a tower as a center channel is a personal thing. For me, it would be an aesthetic eyesore to have a single tower sitting back there. I like things balanced (in both sound, and looks) when it comes to the layout of my system, so I personally wouldn't like it (that also completely depends on what your other speakers are, and if the 150 would blend properly with them without being over-bearing)comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

I could not agree more with what Brett had to say. I would save up the dough and buy my self a good amp for the fronts. If you want to hear a quick improvement, get a decent speaker wires for your fronts ( I would buy them Signal Cables).
Slow your phase down a bit when buying something for your HT. Do a research on what is best fit for your setup now and work your way up from there. Why don't you post your rig here in the forum and let the experts help you figure out how to set them up or which one to upgrade or what to add.

thanks brett,
For SACD/ CD only purposes, this giant would be invisible as soon as you enter the room. 2 sofas joint together leave you a corner, thus lead you a possible location for the rti150 behind a vase & and a plant. Please advise.Godspeed,

You have to tell us what your other speakers are. What amps/receiver are you driving everything with, etc.
To just blindly say that a 150 would be the right move would be careless if it wouldn't match at all what you have.....
Give us the details.......comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
