Pretty much anything under the sun would work, those speaks are pretty easy to drive. Thing is, think about what you might want to upgrade to as far as speakers go in the future so don't limit yourself in a entry level receiver. Find one with all the goodies you want and pre outs to be able to add an amp down the road if you need to.

How much coin did you plan on spending? It's best for a recommendation to know budget concerns.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

For the price they have a bit more features than the others, from what i've heard they have problems witht the HDMI boards if you move stuff alot, causing cables to be repeatiedly installed and removed, or if heavier cables are used for HDMI devices. As someone who is looking to get a legitimate set up, i would think you will care for your gear very well and these problems shouldnt arise if you heed all neccesary precautions. From the couple i have heard, the were fairly neutral sounding recievers, not too bright, but not very warm either, any amp that you add to it would change that to match the amp. whatever you pick, besure you give it some room to breathe and use power protection and good cables and wires, you dont have to spend a fortune, just get good conductivity, shieliding when applicable, and good solid connections. And now for the most important part, enjoy your system!
