I just spent 2 hours of total frustration. I got a test CD that had the usual left right channel test stuff and a lot of well recorded music from Stereophile. I put it on and with the left channel signal I get no output from the left speaker. But I get sound in both speakers with a signal to the right channel. I go nuts trying to find the problem: try different CD player,try different preamp change interconnects..... Finally replace power amp and everything works fine. Pull out power Adcom amp (FUN FUN FUN)and see that it got switched to bridged mode. What the F. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with the system for a few weeks: smeared sound no sound stage..... Now I know. Just when you think you know what you are doing you realize that you don't know ****.
