PSW 404 Question

We have a PSW404B. This afternoon while listening to music, all of a sudden the sound was very "tinny" (no base). After further review, the sub outputs only a very small amount of sound.
I totally powered it down for about 5 hours thinking it might be warm to no avail. I also replaced the cables but still only a barely audible amount of sound. I can't imagine that it's blown as we don't play it too loud but any troubleshooting tips would be very helpful.
The receiver is a Harmon-Kardon AVR225.

Sounds like a blown amp. Ken, Polk Customer Service, will help you with troubleshooting on Monday I am sure.
I would hold off doing anything further until you hear from him.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
