The McDonalds PR / marketing machine has been quite effective...I think the criticism over them has mainly been that the food is unhealthy, not just that 'it makes you fat'. If you eat smaller portions of poison, I guess that's better than super-sized portions of poison. I could go for a Big Mac right now though....
