SurroundBar 3000 IHT Issue-Power Switches On/Off

This saturday, I turned my TV on and my SoundBar kept turning off/on on its own. I changed the power source yet it kept on doing that.
I disconnected the Audio jack but I can see the Led flicker between red & green.
As soon as push the on/off button switch from behind, the unit ( LED switch) is flickering Off & ON.
My remote battery is dead/weak, so of late i was walking up to the unit and increasing/decreasing volume.
I checked on my purchase date and it is more than 1 yr old. Has anyone else experience the same issue?
I think I am out of warranty on this , since I am more than 1 yr from the purchase date and I don't think i had purchased ext. warranty. ALso I had not registered on polk's site. ANy suggestions.

Hello goastros,
Welcome to Polk's forum, sorry there's a problem with your SB3000. It would be best to contact Polk's CS department either via telephone at: 1-800-377-7655 or via email at: polkcs@polkaudio.com. If you can give them the exact date and place of purchase they can determine the warranty status of your speaker. I'm sure they will help solve the problem.
Regards, Ken -
Thanks Kenneth.
I had left it disconnected for 1 day and then last night, I recoennected and it is working fine.
I left it ON for 15-20 mins and the problem didn't re-occur.
But I did go ahead & call the CS, who said they would still help since I had bought my unit just above 1 yr.
As of now, I will keep the unit and see how it goe. If the problem re-occurs it is at least good to know that POLK CS will still help me. -
Hello,
Good, I'm glad you've made progress. However, a call to Polk is a good idea.
Cheers, Ken
