    2012 Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano = $330,000
    2014 Corvette = approx. $80,000

Oh yeah, I'll be buying the Ferrari.

As a C5 owner, I'd love to trade up to a C7. The tail lights do look a bit odd to me too, but they do seem to blend with the rest of the rear end styling.

Always good to see another C5 owner. Not trying to get off topic but had to post a pic of my baby, 2001 dark bowling green metallic:mrgreen:.

I love it. Homerun. They are keeping up with the technology out there. I instantly loved the looks. Sometimes it takes time to warm up to the look.

Can't wait to see the racecar version.

Why did they have to try the angular-thing with the Corvette? Ugly IMO...

The other styles look like they could stick out their tongue and lick you like a puppy and the new C7 looks like it's ready to take a bite out of your ****.

I think if I was going to buy a Corvette I would be looking at some used Lingenfelters.

And you'd be missing a nice upgrade. There's two twin turbo vettes here and at idle they sound like a stock vette and once on the gas monsterous.

I felt sick when I saw the rear end, it doesn't match the rest of the car. I know they make a bra for them, this one needs panties...
    Vinyl, the final frontier...

Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... :D

The rear end is my favorite part. I showed a couple of my co-workers and the younger guys liked it while the older guys not so much.

There performance upgrades are cool but I'm not a fan of their body kits at all..

    Not my cup of tea.

I still dream about owning a 1963 Split Window Coupe.

Might not be the fastest or best handling Corvette. But it will always be the one and only Sting Ray.

0-60 in 4 seconds and 1G handling? This ain't your Daddy's Corvette, that's for sure.

My dad had a Stringray when I was younger, '71-72? not sure, but somewhere around there.
    454 bigblock (I think?).
Push button start (no key), and that was BADA$$!
More power than you can EVER IMAGINE!
i love that car to this day (long gone).
Outran my uncles Pantera (351) BAAAAAAAAAAD!!!!!!!

As far as I know it was stock.
One of the fastest vehicles I have ever been in through the 1/4" mile.
And one of the most beautiful.

PS: My uncle bought a Porsch Turbo 944 (I think) in like '85 (rotary cell phone $4/minute) that would have prolly SMOKED IT!

He came to visit me and got into a huge argument with his wife, and gave me the keys and told me to be back in 24 hours.
I damn near sent it back in pieces!
    Blaupunkt stereo that was Killer!

That had some serious, scary power for me anyway.

Loved eating some IrocZ's for breakfast that next morning!

Never drove a car that could touch it since then!

As much as I love my C5, I will own this car within the next year and now it'll be even cheaper. I've always loved the jet stream blue C6Z
