Resistor Dilemma - Polk Audio LS90

I am raising this outside of my LS90 upgrade and tweak post since I need some additional help so I can place my order on Monday.

According to the original LS90 schamatic I should have a 5 watt .8 ohm resistor in my crossover. Even the circuit board in my crossovers has .8 ohms printed but I found a 1 ohm in one crossover and 2 ohm in the other crossover.

They appear to be original. Maybe Polk ran out of .8 ohm resistors (?).

Anyway, by my way of thinking I should just pick up a couple of Mills 5-MRA .8 ohm resistors.

Anything wrong with my logic ?

Thanks,

Tracy

.8 to 1 ohm is just 2/10 of a ohm I dont think its audible plus all resisters have some variance .
I wouldnt worry about it , if the rest of the board is on spec I would replace it with a .8 or a .9 with the .9 you cant go wrong by much either way .
But it you want to be sure wait untill monday and call polk tech support or maybe someone from plk will writt in on your message

    Go with the .8 ohm.

Thanks guys, .8 makes the most sense.

I guess Polk had some extra resistors laying around and used what was close.

+1, also go with the 12 watt Mills.

Why not 5 watts since that is what was spec?

The 12 watt will give you a little insurance and can handle the power better also wont get as hot as a 5 watt would. I'm sure the 5 watt will work fine your call.
