Roll Tide Roll!!!

I've liked TN since the Manning days. I was a fan when he was there and then spent almost a full year in Knoxville and made a couple games. I love the location right on the river and loved the city, if you can call it that, of Knoxville. I haven't been out there in years, but still find myself rooting for them on the rare occasion they're on TV.

I was at a friend's house watching the game. After the 3rd quarter, I went home... 'cause it was just an embarrassment for Notre Dame. I feel like I should take a break from Facebook for a day or two so I can stop seeing "Roll Tide!"Equipment list:

You probably wouldn't recognize it then cause its definitely a "city" now. That place has exploded. I drive thru there a lot and it seems as big as Atlanta! I know it's not but it has grown like a weed the last few years. Chattanooga was like its twin not too long ago. Both on the Tennessee River, both had UT campuses and both were about the same size. I don't remember there being this huge outcry from people saying 'NO, Manziel doesn't deserver it at all, Teo should win it!!!!!". Some thought Teo should win, more people voted for Manziel and rightfully so, people disagree its what we do, no need to make more of it than that.
Teo had a bad game, it happens sometimes. I was a Teo backer for Heisman originally, and it's a good thing they don't give me a vote, because I'd have been wrong. Manziel was lights out against OU and deserves every pound of that trophy, I just hope he's the real deal...
I think Teo is a great person, but he should have never, ever, EVER been considered for the Heisman. I have yet to see a compelling argument that puts him in the top 5 contenders. It was honestly ridiculous. Being an Aggie fan, I've closely followed Manziel, and yes, there were still a lot of people whining after he got the Heisman.
Manziel had more forced fumbles than TeoRidiculous. I'm a Tennessee fan first but if my team can't win (and they usually don't) I want a SEC team to win it and I'm gonna take pleasure when my fellow southerners put a whoopin' on the "number one" team.....again. I see nothing wrong with that.
Now I agree with you that I don't have a right as a Vols fan to go running around screaming "YEAH IN YOUR FACE! WE RULE! YOU SUCK!" but I don't see anything wrong with rooting for and enjoying the success of my neighbors.
100%. When TU went to the BCS championship in 2010 and we were in the Big 12, I cheered for TU. It's conference/state pride. In fact, if TU/Bama played again, I have no idea who I'd cheer for...fellow conferencer or fellow Texas team.

Here's another photo...Brent Musburger comments Creepy or Not? ...“You quarterbacks, you get all the good looking women,” Brent Musburger remarked after the cameras showed Webb rooting in the stands alongside McCarron’s mother. “What a beautiful woman.” “If you’re a youngster in Alabama, start getting the football out and throw it around the backyard with pop.”

Temple, Texas is my adopted home town and I consider myself am honorary Texan so you always root for the Texas team. If its UT against Bama, you pull for UT. I did in that championship game back in '10. Put me at odds with my SEC brethren but its a Texas thang. Most people don't get it. Texas is more than just a state. :biggrin:polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
