just get something that looks nice to you.
That thing that bothers me about stands is that performance wise they can never be as good as a damn rock. A fridge will do, if the size doesn't bother you and it's proper height.I have found that tube based computers provide the best sound quality. ENIAC and MANIAC I offer a smooth, well defined and articulated sound unmatched by the current silicon based CPUs.jeremymarcinko wrote: »But as in all things your perception is your reality. -
Great deals can be had for nice stands on local Craigslist postings and on ebay.
You can get a pair of nice looking and durable stands that would work well for your TSi200s for anywhere from $30 to about $300.
I got a pair of New Sanus Natural Foundations (NF30B) 30" stands for my vintage Monitor 5jr's (weigh nearly 20# each) off ebay for $35 shipped a while back. They have a base that's about 10-1/2" x 11-1/2" and a top plate that's 6" x 6", look nice and are quite stable. The same ones are listed there now for about $55 shipped ($69 + tax at BB). -

What is your budget?
"Not too expensive" is very subjective...
I find the Sanus Steel Foundation stands to be very good for the money. I have the Ultimate Foundation stands from them and I'm very happy. -
Do you want black or cherry?

Hello, my problem is that all the stands I see are small on the top, does that really matter?, I am afraid for them to fall down, is metal better than wood?, Thanks Guys

Might want to jump on something like this:

I just got some Bell'O SP-300 speaker stands off of Amazon the other day for my new pair of Monitor 30 Surrounds.
Very nice looking. Well built. Black.
The only downside is that they may not be as sturdy as some other stands...they could be knocked over if you bump into them.
But I'd buy them again because they look great for the price.

I paid $111.98 but they dropped to $102.23.
For the price, they're hard to beat. -
Just to note, they easily fit 12-gauge speaker wire.
I'm just noting this because a couple reviews for other stands noted it was difficult to fit heavier gauge wire down the back of the stands.
It's not a problem with these. -
I really like these and they are close to your budget. They are very solid and heavy.
