Looking for Boston Acoustic VR-970 speaker replacement suggestions

I have a pair of the VR-970s and the 12" speaker is blown. Not sure what speaker to replace it with. The 10" speaker is looking a bit worn and I'm looking to replace it too.

I've searched for the VR-970 manual online and BA's website wasn't very useful either. I was hoping to look-up the specs of each woofer but no luck so far.

Any Polk suggestions to replace the 10" and 12" with?

Thank you in advance,

O man , the 970's . Yes I Installed tons of them and loved every single time. Excellent speakers my man , Yes please get them fixed. Check out your area for a local speaker repair shop. if not call Boston acoustics and see if they have replacement drivers for yeah. I suggest replacing both 10 and 12 inch drivers in both cabinets. Well worth the cost. The other thing you could do is sell them as is and upgrade to Definitive Technology BP series like the 8060's or 8080's which would be a very nice upgrade coming from the VR's. I'd fix them first.

Another idea would be to try and buy another pair used. Probably gonna be hard to find as most people who own them , keep them. I would if I owned them.

No need as my Polk LSi25's will arrive on Tuesday. :)

But I do like these so want to get them fixed. They will be doing double duty for HT and music in the living room, LSi25's going in my office as I listen to music 8-10 hours a day there.
