All muffins are on a thomas english muffin.
Egg and Cheese-1.69
Bacon.Egg and Cheese-2.69 (three full strips of bacon not 3 half strips like others use.)
Canadian bacon, egg and cheese-2.69 (boars head canadian)
Canadian sunrise-3.29 (canadian bacon,regular bacon,egg and cheese.
25pc Tater Tots-1.79 (Ore-Ida tots)

Oh ,and I recently added a new sandwich to the menu called the Chipotle chicken,Bacon and Cheddar melt on toasted Ciabatta. Its a 7inch ciabatta hoagie roll I get from pacifico bakery that costs a whopping 85 cents per roll. But its damn good and a pretty good size roll.
4.5 ounces of chicken fajita strips
4 slices of bacon
2.5oz new york extra sharp cheddar
Lettuce, onions, and red bell pepper strips.
And Itialian rose chipotle Aioli, which is the best chipotle sauceI ever had.And should be since it costs about 10 bucks for a 32 oz jar.I also have a chipotle fried chicken sub, chipotle grilled chicken sub and a chipotle bacon cheeseburger.--All the chipotle sandwiches are favorites and best sellers.Im going expand those offerings to whole wheat flat out wraps and fire baked Flat bread pizza's and melts.

Great deal IMHO, especially if you can get them out fast for a grab and go. The quality will build your name and you can increase your prices a bit on the breakfast.

Going to grab a snack...thanks for making me hungry

Since you're asking the prices seem too low too me, but the bigger question is how's business? If slow right now, stay and see if word of mouth helps traffic. If high try increasing price some.

I would definitely pay that much for any of those items...but are you in a college-student heavy area? I know when I was in school, I didn't pay extra for quality, it was all about the cheap, cheap, cheap. BUT, that was over 20 years ago, too, so today's college kids could be a whole different breed. What is your food cost. Your prices should be based on your projected profit vs. food cost. Not whether an audio forum thinks your prices are too high or too low. I don't know your market or your competition so there is no way to tell you if you are high or low.

Are you on a College campus, strip mall, convenience store, stand alone food shop, mall kiosk, etc, etc

In very general terms your prices seem fine, but there are too many variables to comment beyond that.

    Good luck

It cost me around 1.00 to make a bacon egg and cheese for example. The average mark up is usually 3 times the base cost but since this is a new product launch and my base customers are college kids I like to keep the prices reasonable for them since I want them to come back. And what I might lose in margins I should be able to make up in volume.Tke key is to keep the price low on one item and they will be more inclined to get tater tots and a drink to go with it.And the profit margin on tots is over 4 times.
My mother told me mcdonalds is selling the egg mcmuffin for 2.99 in town.I plan to increase food service prices next august when the new batch moves in.
My buisness is very good when the kids are in town.Almost none when there gone for break.
I have a c-store located inside an apartment building that houses over 500 students and am 2 blocks away from penn state main campus.

Prices are right and maybe a bit on the low side but I'm thinking you need to do this to attract the kids. Nice menu, really like the canadian bacon options as compared to the high fat stuff usually offered. Def will look you up next time I'm in town. Now, what audio do you have set up in the place? :)

One Canadian suprise please ......loves ma bacon ...

IF you were just a food service your margins would be to low IMO , but since you are a combo shop .......the food prices can probably work for you as most of your mark-up comes from the store side ........ but you might want to consider the down time of the students being gone .....
