Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope all of you got at least a little something for your home theater or listening room for Christmas. If you did, you likely bought it yourself. I didn't, but that's OK. Slowly, little by little is how I've been building mine.

I've checked out this forum occasionally as a guest when I was researching possible purchases but have decided to join as I am determined to make my room as good as I can; and this is going to take asking questions of audiophiles who know Polk, the make I've decided is the best for me.

I'll be looking for advice in amplifiers, sub-woofers (my next upgrades) and room sound absorption among other things I guess. So be patient with me as my AV knowledge grows; it's not at the level of most of you on this site.

Happy to be here.

P.S.-Curious about the user name? Google it!
