Matter of taste. I'm spoiled rotten from Johnny Winter back in the 70's! Still dig Frank and Steve too!

I go for soul over technicality every time, so guys like vai and satriani have a hard time winning me over. zappa is good. page live is awesome. dwayne. jerry from '68-'74 has my heart though. modern day? jimmy herring is a personal fav. pat metheny live is an experience.

Yer welcome the best part they are all numbered, example Shut Up And Play Yer Guitar is #ed 31,32,& 33 respectively with Franks goatee underneath and alongside the see through jewel case is a fretboard with the infamous Arf. These Zappa rereleases are worth it!

Eh, they all pale compared to Hendrix (IMO of course). He had the perfect blend of technicality, showiness, and feel. His tone was absolutely unbeatable as well.

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Wow, a "remaster" of Zappa stuff. I hope they really mean just a repackaging or something.

Frank was a manic when it came to recording and EQ'ing his music. I have alot of Zappa stuff. One of the few people, were you could pick any CD, be it live or studio and they all play perfectly.

To say "remaster" of Shut up and play your guitar....would bode the question..why did you touch it?

I hope there not **** with his stuff Just to make a fast buck.

All remastered off the original analog sources, these new ones sound real good compared to the barking pumpkin releases a while back. Yes Tommy Bolins out solo on Post Toastee is awesome.

Zappa screwed up some of his own releases big time. Why? Who knows, but Hot Rats, We're Only In It For The money, and Reuben & The Jets were not listenable for awhile there. In fact, Reuben & The Jets still is. Most of his great guitar stuff is already on the standard albums, not the "SUaPYG" series.
