New surrounds or new bookshelf speakers

Here's what I have or will have shortly. New Marantz 6007, 2 front RTi10's, CSi3 center, 2 RTi6's rear, and new HSU VTF-3MK4 sub. Have on order a Emotiva XPA 5 amp. I would like to go to a 7.1 set up and am looking for some opinions. I would like to go with wides but the wife has put her foot down and said no, where I have my set up the speaker would protude into the pathway into the kitchen on one end and the hall on the other, so I can somewhat agree with her. So plan b comes into play, I am looking at a front height set up. Now on to the questions, I am trying to decide between new rear speakers such as the FIxa4 or 6 or getting some new bookself speakers to use as the front height speakers. I hear the dipole set up is pretty awesome, does it make a difference that my back is against a wall, how would I place these speakers on a wall? Next option would be just leave the RTi6's in place and add some front height speakers something comparable to the RTi6's or maybe a step up to the LSi series. I appreciate any insight into either of these scenarios.

Thanks Ken

Well I havn't set it up properly yet, just by sound so far, but it sounds really good! I'm waiting to get my amp before I use Audyessey again. So much better than my last sub, it just seems like it responds when it's supposed to instead of just booming all the time.
