Soundbar 6000 Garbled Audio (especially voice)

My soundbar routinely garbles the audio. It sounds like the audio is overlayed with a computer generated feed that is slightly out of synch. It happens every few hours. It resets by resetting the TV (on-off-on), disconnecting/reconnecting the optical cable going into the subwoofer, or resetting the subwoofer itself.
Here's my setup
Samsung 46EN6000F 46" LED -> Optical Audio out -> Polk Soundbar 6000

Hello engelbrj,
Welcome to Polk's discussion forum, sorry about the problem with your SB6000 unit. I would venture a guess that there's a synchronization conflict between the bar and the source. Usually it is best to have the Samsung fully on when you power up the bar, that way when they "shake hands" so-to-speak the TV is putting out its digital information.
If this problem still persists contact Polk's CS either via telephone at 1-800-377-7655 (first thing Monday) or via email at polkcs@polkaudio.com.
Regards, Ken -
