Lighter fluid and a match, is the preferred method.
    Hope that helps.

Sometimes you can burn the regular layer but not the sacd part.

Not sure why someone would want to go to all of the effort.... But if one were to get their "google" on you will find that it is possible to rip an SACD with an older PS3 with older firmware and some tweeking. This would allow you to create an *.iso file that is mountable to a DVD-R and can be replayed on certain SACD players that don't flag. and you could back up your collection...

I prefer to just listen to them.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I would think it would be easier to just buy the Albums fro HD tracks or someone like that. Isn't SACD copy protected?

Yes and no Dan, saying that buying a HD copy is the same as a SACD may or may not be the case. It's easier for sure, more convenient, but quality issues of what your buying has become suspect.
