Too bad you weren't closer.... I would gladly let those unused speakers "vacation" in my setup "....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Yeah this is a never ending battle...LOL I have so much equipment sitting around, but i can never bring myself to sell any of it. I have 3 sets of speakers sitting in my listening room...which is a strait 2 channel system...LOL
I bought Rti 12's (because they were a good deal) so i "supposedly" could take my SDA 1 C's apart and up grade them, on top of that i have a set of old large Advents, that i have already redone. I literally move these speakers around. I put the 12's in place, thinking these are good..i need to pull apart the SDA's....then after a while, i go nope. Move the 12's out, put the SDA's back in place...LMAO
I keep my TT in an upstairs closet along with 7 milk crates of vinyl, kind of out of site out of mind thing. If i jump down that rabbit hole again, thats an easy 1K just to start with. Then of course i need a tube pre amp, plus would like a set of SRS 3.1's
The list would be endless and i never seem to sell off anything...LOL -

I have 4 pairs of Polks right now, I have sold another 4 pair over the years. I have a pair for sale now so that I can get going on my SDA's! for some reason, the one pair I have never been able to let go of are my Monitor 12's. I know they are not a favorite of the polkies, but I LOVE THEM!The difference between genius and stupidity is; genius has its limits. -Albert Einstein

LOL Ok toolfan, you pretty much have me beat on speakers..... Now i don't have any HT setup..don't care about it. Only run a strait 2 channel system. Now if you use the SDA's for 2 channel. Which do you like the most the SRS or the 1C's??
Logic would say the SRS has to be better then the 1C's, but sometimes when i listen to them...I'm like, well yes they should be better but how much better could they be? It's like what if anything could the 1C's be lacking...LOL -

Most of my Polks are listed below minus the M-70s/CS2/M-30s and B.A.300/600 watt sub that run with the Onkyo upstairs! Is that enough "Polk" for you? And that's nothing compared to the vintage collection bluecomet and others have!
And this does not "reflect" my vintage speakers, such as: Dynaco A25s, KLH 17s, Large Advents, B.A. A100s, ADS L520s, HH Scott S-11, EPI 120C/100Vs, etc. Punch yourself in the face then "kick yourself" in the you know whats! lol Can you say "storage closets"?
