I've purchased two pairs here in Il. for 750$ each. Both mint and from original owners. YMMV but I'd say 700$ to 1000$ depending on condition and /or upgrades.

Good luck, You will be lucky to get $800 even if they are mint. Trust me I know on this one! Most people are not willing to pay up for good equipment.

That is not true at all, it comes down to buyer and location for the most part. I would have no problems in spending up to $1300 for a minty set of 2.3tl's..

Find me a better speaker for $1300..

I drove 7hrs. one way to get mine and was very pleased. I get countless PM's of people ready to buy my 2.3's and then they bail. I guess $800 is too much $$ for mine with RDO-194's and a pair of Gimpods boards?

    charley95, we're talking about 2.3TL's, not the 2.3's.

I realize that the TL is the more preferred but, the non TL is nothing to sneeze at. ox1216 let us know when and how much you end up selling yours for.

Not to drift here but, what is the going rate for a pair of 1.2TL's? There is a pair on the bay for $2500.00. He doesn't state that his are TL's though. They appear to have the 3000 tweeters.

It clearly says "Polk SDA SRS 1.2TL Speakers", so they're TLs.
The SL3000s are the original TL Tweeters

I turned down a pair due to poor condition of the wood and grill cloth. For $400.00

I bought an "as new" pair for $750.00

They look like the were just taken out of the box. And I have seen several other amazingly clean pairs for $600.00

If you put them on ebay at the end of the description generalize them by typing brands like
    Macintosh carver jbl pioneer kenwood
that way when they do a search they will show up

Keyword spamming is theoretically against eBay policy.

ox1216, you are not allowed to sell anything here until you reach 100 posts and this is starting to look like a back door for sale ad, not cool.

If you wonder why you're despised by everyone here, the above is an excellent example.

While there are many, many more examples for your case. I'll admit that I only noticed ox's join date and location without any notice of his number of posts.ox has been a member here longer than I have. Furthermore..... I NEVER stated just exactly where or how I'd make my offer, if I in fact, decided to make one at all. Lighten up a little would ya ,skidmark, It's Christmas time ! Scrooges are the ones that are usually despised the most, in my experience.

How long do you think before you can get straightened out?
If it was a year or so would not a friend or storage building be a consideration?
Yea Keywords is not a good thing, I retract that idea.

Exactly, and those trying to get retail for old speakers is so far fetched at this time of year. I think he'd be better off hanging on to them.
