When I switch to DVD mode everything is fine?? By accident I hit a button on the remote and it muted the TV sound. I turned everything off and thought that may do it?? Not!! Hoping someone here has had this happen to them and knows what to do. Man does this make me feel pretty dumb! Thanks if you can help!

I did, and after that was done the volume was showing a negative number on the receiver and when I couldn't hear anything the tech told me my HDMI board was failing?? Then he said I would have to send it in to a repair shop so screwed I thought I was!! I started playing with the volume and when I got it up there I heard that it was working but still no picture?? I called back to Onkyo (another half hour on hold) I got the same tech on the phone and he walked me through assigning the HDMI's to the right place and Whamo..I'm back in business again. I wonder how many people actually do send their AVR's in because a tech on the other end of the phone says so?? Glad i didn't!!
