I have lived in many states and Wisconsin was my favorite till I moved to Rhode Island. Its a toss up for me as to which I like best based on a lot of business and personal reasons. I gotta say though I am fortunate have to opportunity to live all over. I did spend some time in the Chicagoland area and have to say it is a terrible place. Strip malls everywhere, traffic worse than L.A. and New Jersey and the weather sucks 10 months of every year.

Ok, cheeseheads....have a bone to pick with you guys over that game yesterday. Detroit gets a penalty for excessive celebrating after that first TD. Their guy jumped into the fans I guess. Every TD the Packers get, they do their Lambeau leep in the same fashion with no penalties. WTF is that all about ?

It's not excessive celebrating if the person that scores the touchdown celebrates. What's excessive is when his teammates start to mimic what he's doing to celebrate. The lambeau leap is grandfathered in to the rules of excessive celebrating and there's other teams that do it also without a penalty.

You guys get all the snow we got yesterday over here? I didn't even leave the house for work today (gotta love having that option).

lucky! we didn't get hit too hard but still sucked when driving. People seem to learn how to forget to drive in snow.

Happy Aaron Rodgers' Day (12/12/12), Cheesers!!

    http://www.packersnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/frontpage

Rumor has it that both he and Adrian Peterson have already scheduled their offseason back surgeries, knowing they'll need it from carrying their respective teams! Well, at least Peterson will be able to schedule his a few weeks earlier than Rodgers and get on the mend sooner. So, we got that goin' for us...which is nice.

    "Playoffs?......Don't talk about, playoffs?
    You kiddin' me?...Playoffs?
I just hope we can win a game!" - Jim Mora

What division is it that you think can be won at 6-and-10? Hah!...won't even be close to a Wild Card spot, let alone a division win.

Vikes have the 32nd ranked passing offense in the NFL. That's right, dead last. Ponder, through close observation of McNabb last year, has a firm handle on the intricacies of the bounce pass, the out-of-bounds pass, the under-thrown "deep" ball and the hang-your-receiver-out-to-dry pass. He's also displayed great mastery of the deer-in-the-headlights "scramble" and the I'm-gonna-stare-down-the-only-receiver-I'm-considering play.

Prior to last weekend, when A. Peterson rushed for 210 yards against the Packers, there was a record of 57-and-2 over the history of the NFL in favor of the team that had a 200+ yard rusher. Now that record is 57-and-3!

No, at this point, the Vikes will be lucky to finish at 6-and-10. Word on the street is that the league might even start taking wins away from teams under a now-under-consideration rule called The Purple Embarrassment Clause.

Oh, and we were supposed to have this great pass attack with the addions of WR J. Simpson (BUST!) and TE ("Yeah, two TE sets, just like Gronkowski and Hernandez for New England!") J. Carlson ($25Mil/5 years) who has 5 receptions for 26 yards this season (MAJOR BUST!). Yeah, that Carlson deal make R. Speilman (GM) look like quite the Scoutmaster to Carlson's Canteenboy!

But....there I digress again....now, back to the Cheesers!

    The Vikes made the PLAYOFFS:cheesygrin::mrgreen::smile:

Lived near Maison (where my folks still live) in a small town called blue mounds for a few years. Also have a set of grandparents in shullsburg and a set in phelps. Also a family cabin in the town of nelma which is near Eagle River.

Living in a suburb near Detroit now. Dad still calls and talks smack about the Lions.

The wife is from Racine and I lived in Portage for a year. We plan to move back someday. I call the area around Madison "God's Country." The only down side is Big Ten football.
