Well, I just no longer live there, and haven't in nearly 30 years. But you never really get the Packers and Badgers out of your blood...

C'mon, he ended his career in a horrible way. I wont say he was a bad football player at all, rather the inverse, just he shoulda retired before the personal stuff hit the fan. Thats all I am saying.

Only if he's in Wranglers .....

I bow down to his career and his tough guy status... I just hate his legacy ended in the way it did. I wish he woulda gone out a Packer....

Oddly enough, I grew up in West Bend... first 22 years of my life. Now I'm out near Denver. Not missing much out here besides the Pack.

Glowrdr, I have a hard time even gettin' excited for the 'Queens this year (they suck SO BAD!), and I have purple blood!!

Watch closely for me at the 'dome on Sunday against the Bears. I have a meeting with Leslie Frazier in the a.m. - might be suiting up as a receiver....or QB!! :loneranger:

Oooh! Well, we kind of highjacked the cheesers' thread there now, didn't we?...OK, now back to your regularly scheduled program...

    "Playoffs?......Don't talk about, playoffs?
    You kiddin' me?...Playoffs?
I just hope we can win a game!" - Jim Mora

What division is it that you think can be won at 6-and-10? Hah!...won't even be close to a Wild Card spot, let alone a division win.

Vikes have the 32nd ranked passing offense in the NFL. That's right, dead last. Ponder, through close observation of McNabb last year, has a firm handle on the intricacies of the bounce pass, the out-of-bounds pass, the under-thrown "deep" ball and the hang-your-receiver-out-to-dry pass. He's also displayed great mastery of the deer-in-the-headlights "scramble" and the I'm-gonna-stare-down-the-only-receiver-I'm-considering play.

Prior to last weekend, when A. Peterson rushed for 210 yards against the Packers, there was a record of 57-and-2 over the history of the NFL in favor of the team that had a 200+ yard rusher. Now that record is 57-and-3!

No, at this point, the Vikes will be lucky to finish at 6-and-10. Word on the street is that the league might even start taking wins away from teams under a now-under-consideration rule called The Purple Embarrassment Clause.

Oh, and we were supposed to have this great pass attack with the addions of WR J. Simpson (BUST!) and TE ("Yeah, two TE sets, just like Gronkowski and Hernandez for New England!") J. Carlson ($25Mil/5 years) who has 5 receptions for 26 yards this season (MAJOR BUST!). Yeah, that Carlson deal make R. Speilman (GM) look like quite the Scoutmaster to Carlson's Canteenboy!

But....there I digress again....now, back to the Cheesers!

Ok, cheeseheads....have a bone to pick with you guys over that game yesterday. Detroit gets a penalty for excessive celebrating after that first TD. Their guy jumped into the fans I guess. Every TD the Packers get, they do their Lambeau leep in the same fashion with no penalties. WTF is that all about ?
