having trouble with my surround sound??

i have a sony reciever str-dh-820 running 6 rm8 polk audio speakers with rm8 center polk audio speaker with a 15" audiosource subwoofer, i had a sony blu ray player hooked up with this and every thing sounded great until it died on me, know i have a ps3 for the blu ray but its not the same sound, some people told me its was my crooss-over setting, i don't know how to set that up, i heard the speakers should be at 80 hz other say at 120 my subwoofer hz the same thing,im so confuse can any body out there help me with this confusing surround sound situation? i dont know if its the crossover or my ps3 just very confused and frustrated.
