ding ding ding ... we have a winner...

FYI... if you've never seen it, do so. Two of the funniest sequences ever filmed. Richard Mulligan (Soap) attempting suicide early in the flic and Wiliam Holden/ Robert Preston/ Robert Webber's body snatching late in the flic are classics... Directed by Blake Edwards, who I believe was Julie's real life hubby at the time...

I can't believe this thread is still going...

All right.. my favorite smell is oranges... not orange candy or 'artifical' orange, but freshly peeled, real orange.

I have some other favorite smells... but you said keep it clean.

Actually, I have a bit of a soft-spot for diesel fuel and truck stops. My father was a truck driver when he was young, and when I was growing up he owned tractors and trailers, and hired drivers. But we'd take trips on his vacations. I went with him on several cross-country trips before I was 14.

He'd let me drive... I remember having to pull over a mile before a scale so he could take over. More than a few drivers took double-takes on a 13 year old piloting a Peterbilt cabover pulling a refer full of swinging beef. My dad was so cool. I miss him dearly. Other drivers called me "little beaver" on the CB.. which I didn't understand at the time..hey, I was only 12 or 13. Today, of course, they'd call me montrous bufflalo, or huge moose, or some other such descriptor.
