SurroundBAR 3000 mutes randomly

As the title says, my SoundBAR 3000 stops playing randomly. I have to turn it off and on to get sound back.
The connections are fine. It's brand new. I bought it over Labor Day but just got the chance to install it tonight. It's only been in operation for about 5 hours. (I'm actually worried about that; being forced to wait so long to install it probably means I can't return it if it's defective.)
Is this a known issue and is there anything I can do? If there's no solution, what are my options for replacement?
Thanks,
Doug

Hello Trike,
Welcome to Polk's forum, I'm sorry you're having a problem. Have you used any external remote control to program the SurroundBar? If so, which one did you use?

Hi Ken,
No, I haven't done any reprogramming at all.
Thanks,

Hi Doug,
It is possible that the incoming signal is low enough that the SB's auto on/off function isn't kept in the "on" position. It might be best to contact Polk's CS department today at 1-800-377-7655 or send them an email to: polkcs@polkaudio.com. I'm sure they can be of help.
Cheers, Ken
