I know this is for Polk audio things but these forums have been so helpful so far for me I'm sure they'll help me again. I havea onkyo txsr 309 receiver and when I put a movie in my ps3 it starts up but the audio settings I can choose from are none of the listed dolby digital sound settings. The audio settings on ps3 for outputting Dolby surround sound are all checked and the dolby settings are listed in the manual. But I can't use any of them for any movies. The closest I can find is the ' multichannel' setting. I'm not sure if that's the same as Dolby or not. The talking parts of movies are played through the center speaker and music and background noises are played through the left front and back together and right front and back together..... would dolby not play certain effects out of single speakers.? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
