How can i maximize my current system and why?

No, your sub has it's own built in amplifier. If you want more power to your sub you can either buy a bigger one, or a passive one and add your own amplifier.
How can I make sure that I'm getting my maximum subwoofer power. I dont know if I'm just trying to be a perfectionist on my current system, but I know it can always be tweaked, and I always will think that I could spend a lot of money on upgrades but will it really make a huge difference on my blu ray movies, because if it does then I want it I definitely have a little addiction. -

Turn it to 11.
HAHAHA!! I set my self up that one. Unless there is an actual 11 on my subwoofer I just want to make sure that I can try and get the full 300watts out of my subwoofer, after I found out that sometimes the specs can be misunderstood. -

I have the DSWPRO 440 wi 8" subwoofer, and I look at the instructions and get lost. Dont get me wrong, I did hook it up but I always wondered in the back of my mind if there was a better way to hook it up so that I could get the full subwoofer effect. When I bought it I lived in an apartment, and space was limited, and I thought this was the best bang for the buck, but now that I live in a house I sometimes second guess myself on it. And earlier I found out that sometimes you need an external source to maximize the wattage of your speakers. I blindly thought that because my AVR stated 110 WPC that I was actually using it.

What about adding front heights? That might enhance the experience for you. I have never tried it, but I'd probably consider it if I my music to movies ratio leaned more toward the latter.Denon X7200WA

They call it "The Lease Breaker" LOL
Wow! That is crazy. My wife would kill me if I brought that into the house...LOL. That is defnitely a lease breaker. -
Sponger-
Are you talking about raising it off the ground. Right now I have the option to face the woofer down or I could face it towards me, which I havent tried yet. -
Speakers and your room acoustics make the most difference, most big box brand receivers do well enough. Even the entry level stuff use decent dac's and as for processing the dolby dts thx and the like distribute the chipsets to all of the brands that choose the given technology. So processing is largely same. 200w per channel or 75w per channel doesnt determine how good your system will sound only how loud it can get.Oh, Listen here mister. Your AVR has pre-outs for front height speakers, which are additional front stage speakers that are placed somewhere above the mains. I can't remember if they're supposed to be above and out or above and in, but I've seen pics in the user gallery and it looks interesting as long as the owner has properly stowed/concealed the wires. Otherwise it's an eyesore with the wires dangling out in the open and down the wall.
The manual for your AVR no doubt will help illustrate.Denon X7200WA

What kind of amp do you suggest? because Ive thought about it before but didnt know if I needed it because of my receiver
Sorry I haven't gotten back. As far as Pioneer compatibility goes I'd say ask Noosinjohn but anything in the Adcom or Parasound will make a considerable difference and stay in the lower cost range. Possibly one of these. Though I am not a NAD aficionado. Anything of decent quality will make huge improvements.
