Opinions on Polk RM7600 system?

We moved to a smaller place and I need to downgrade my speakers. I currently have Polk RT800's, CS400i and FX300i's. I will be trading this system for another member's Polk RM7600 system which includes stands and a subwoofer. Everything I've read about these speakers has been positive, even overwhelmingly so. Sound and Vision Magazine also gave them a glowing review.

But has anybody else ever owned this system? How would they compare to my current speakers or is not a fair comparison? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't own them but have Installed many RM series speakers over the years and I will say they are very nice for the money and perform well with that polk sonic signature your use to. They however will not play music as good as your current system nor really outperform in anywhere. But with the smaller room and in a down grade , this is a good choice. I think you'll be ok for a while.

The RM7600's are an excellent setup!  J/K--I'll keep my opinion to myself for reasons obvious to the OP.

I'm not sure what the deal is with Polk's pictures of the RM7600 at the link above. Either that picture is of an earlier version of the satellites, or of the wrong model.

Somewhere I have another magazine comparison/review in PDF form. It might be the one that you mentioned. If not, I'll try to post that here.
