Crackling Center Speaker

Hi
Today I noticed a crackling coming from my center speaker (polk rm7) during a battle scene from HBO's Pacific.
Channel level for the center is only at +0.5 and I didn't have the sound up (just a normal listening level).

Wasn't happening during a battle scene from Band of Brother's on a different station.

Any suggestions?

I would probably check the cable/sat connections. Since this only happened on one channel it sounds like more of a cable/sat transmission problem than anything else.

What do you have it crossed over at?

    Thanks for replying.

    surrounds at 100
    center at 110

That's what audyssey pegged them at and what I've had them at for a long time. I recored the section of the movie that produced the crackling and tried my center xover at both 100 and 120 and still got the same effect.
