hi i live in vancouver bc canada. we have a very poor selection. I never picked up a center channel when I should have. so Dilemma I can't get a matching center. can you all suggest an alternative?
i've searched ebay amazon google shopper and many more.. so if there is an equivalent to the lsi15's I have I would really appreciate any input

The LSiC is the only matching center for your LSi15's. Look on ebay or local craigslist or canuck audio mart etc, one will come up eventually.
Another very good alternative would be to just use a single LSi7 or LSi9 bookshelf speaker as a center. In my testing, a single LSi9 actually sounded better than the LSiC. Hands down.
Good luck!2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's
Living Room: PC > Marantz AV-7703 > Emotiva XPA-5 > Sonus Faber Liuto Towers, Sonus Faber Liuto Center, Sonus Faber Liuto Bookshelves > Dual SVS PC12-Pluses
Office: Phone/Tablet > AudioEngine B1 > McIntosh D100 > Bryston 4B-ST > Polk Audio LSiM-703's -
thanks for the advice i'll look into it

You can call polk and see if they have any LSiC refurbished too, not everything makes it to ebay. I just bought a pair of LSi9 and will use one for the center. I would imagine others have done the same and they will show up on ebay. But even the LSi9 is getting hard to find. The Lsi7 is plentiful though.

It would be better if each speaker was on its own amp channel. you could just sell the other one.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

I got this response when I asked Polk a good replacement for the LSiC
A much better choice would be the LSi M704.
Another option would be a CSiA4 but this speaker will be a little brighter by comparison. -
I was debating If the LSiM704c would be a good replacement as well. There are some occasional LSiC on eBay but they are not in mint or great shape, and the LSiM704c will be under warranty. Would an LSiM704c match (timbre, and overall seamless front stage) the LSi15s, LSiF/Xs in surround, and LSi7s in rear surround? A few Audio equipment dealers mentioned that it is a good alternative, but I want to hear the unbiased opinions of fellow polkies. Thanks!
