I have searched and searched for this. I would almost bet that I had come across a list of most of the older MW (6500,6503,6511,6600 etc)
specs on here before , all in one place. Did I dream that up or what? I would really appreciate anyone that could point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Coley

So, just by DC resistance, it's not a guarantee to confirm a MW model as I see three models with close readings and depending upon a MM, it may suggest either one of them.
Hmm... so if I just have a MW driver with no model information, it's kinda tricky to tell what it is.

    3 MW 6501 1.47 5.96 N 3.25 E - 3N/M 7.75 Ohms 31 Hertz
    5 MW 6503 1.82 5.24 N 3.55 E - 3N/M 6.54 Ohms 29 Hertz
    6 MW 6509 2.1 4.57 N 3.54 E - 3N/M 8.97 Ohms 30 Hertz
    7 MW 6510 1.39 6.32 N 3.41 E - 3N/M 6.57 Ohms 31 Hertz

    Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze.

What speaker do you own? Most of the schematics have been posted and it should be fairly easy to narrow the selection down for your particular loudspeaker.

Well, I have a thread here on identifying two MW drivers that I have and no idea what they came off of.

Multimeter reads 7.7 ohms and another consistent at 7.6 ohms and the consensus was they are MW6501.
However, assuming my Harborfreight multimeter readings are little off, they could be any one from those 4 I mentioned above as they are all within 1 ohm range from my readings.

In that range the HF multimeter is crap. When I reworked my crossovers, the 1.5 ohm 1% resistor measured 4.8 ohms with my HF meter and 1.51 ohms with my calibrated Fluke 187. Which do I trust?

Your driver is a little unique in the shape of the dust cap. I am trying to remember which ones had that style, though there may not be too much rhyme or reason. I'll check when I get home tonight.

Well in that case you're proper forked since the origin is loose. VOM readings are not indicitive of a specific driver in reality and if the consensus was MW6501, I'd defer to that driver.

They are all close in specs and close enough for you to never know the difference audibly from my perspective. Go with your gut and I'd choose the MW6501.
