AmazonBasics HDMI Cables?

Anyone tried the HDMI cables from AmazonBasics?
I've always been a fan of the Monoprice stuff, but I've had a couple of their cables fail on me and the last few I've bought from them are VERY thick and hard to work with. The cables from Amazon look thinner and seem to have good reviews, but don't give specifics about what version they are or anything like that. Here is the one I'm looking at:

I suppose for $10 it's not a huge risk,but thought I'd ask anyway.

I went through 3 and they break inside and have a little noise on 25 ft. The connectors seem to break inside the wire at the connection but I was always rotating them around but still

I have ones like Rick88. No issues, but I'm not a videophile, nor do I move cables around with any type of frequency.

Are you buying the 22, 24 or 26 gauge cables from Monoprice? Those will be stiff, but that's also a thicker gauge of wire than you will find in most HDMI cables. They do have standard 28 gauge cables, and now they also have 36 gauge cables with Redmere.

Haven't tried the AmazonBasics stuff but I see no reason not to.

Most items with hdmi ports are high ticket items so why pay all that money just to hook them up with a $10 cord?

I just wanted to report back that I've been using these for a couple weeks now and they work great. I like the fact that they're very flexible and easy to work with, and produce an excellent picture.

Good to know! Might use them next time I need cables, since Monoprice doesn't have free shipping. I'm always buying stuff from Amazon, so it'd be easy to hit the $25 free-shipping mark.
